# DATA Driver Setup (2nd PC)

The DMA Tool installs your card's DATA (FTDI) driver for you.

The DATA driver lets your **2nd PC** read from the card through its **DATA port**. Your cheat software needs it, and so does the speed test. The [**DMA Tool**](/getting-started/dma-tool.md) installs it for you.

### Install the DMA Tool

If you have not already, [**install the DMA Tool**](/getting-started/dma-tool.md) on your **2nd PC**.

### Move the cable to the DATA port

Plug the card's USB cable into its **DATA port**, and make sure your **Game PC** is switched on.

### Install the driver if the tool asks

If a red banner says **The card driver is not installed.**, click **Install driver** and click **Yes** when Windows asks for permission. If the banner is still there a few seconds later, unplug the card's USB cable and plug it back in.

No banner means the driver is already installed.

### Check it worked

On the **Overview** page, press **Run Full Test**. **DMA card detected** and **Card driver** should both show **OK**.
