# KernAim

Setup guide for KernAim on Apex Legends.

### Download SteelSeries GG

[Download SteelSeries GG](https://steelseries.com/gg/downloads/gg/latest/windows) - Install the application and create an account.

### SteelSeries GG Setup

* You may **disable Moments**
* **Ensure Sonar is enabled**
* Click **Let's Go**

### Verify Sonar is Enabled

* Open **SteelSeries GG**
* Go to **Settings → General**
* Make sure **Sonar** is toggled **ON**

### Set Up Shortcuts

* Go to **Settings → Shortcuts**
* Bind keys for:
  * **Volume Up**
  * **Volume Down**
* Assign an **Overlay Enable** key bind (This ensures Sonar runs properly in-game)

### Run the Loader

* Launch the **KernAim loader**
* Log in using your **key**
* Press **`F1`** to enable **Compatibility Mode**
* Click the **blue Start button**

### Launch the Game

**Launch the game** and set **Display Mode** to **Borderless** or **Windowed**

### Menu Key

Once in-game, press **`INSERT`** to **open or close the menu**
