# Makima

Setup guide for Makima on Marathon, covering both the 1 PC and DMA versions.

### Choose your version

Makima for Marathon is sold in two versions. The setup below covers both, so follow the steps that apply to yours.

Always run the loader as Administrator, and make sure no antivirus software is blocking it. On a 1 PC setup, Memory Integrity (HVCI) must be disabled.

### Create Your Account and Redeem Your Key

Register an account on the [Makima website](https://makima.rip), then redeem your key on it. Your product will not show up in the loader until the key is redeemed.

### Download the Loader

Get the current loader from Makima's loader page.

### Disable Memory Integrity (1 PC Only)

Skip this step if you are running a 2 PC DMA setup.

1. Open **Windows Security**
2. Click **Device Security**
3. Select **Core Isolation Details**
4. Turn **Memory Integrity** off
5. Restart your computer

### Run the Loader

On a DMA setup, start the game first.

1. Right-click `Loader.exe` and select **Run as administrator**
2. Log in with your website account credentials
3. Select your product from the list
4. Click **Load**

### Launch the Game

Once the loader finishes loading the product, launch the game normally and wait for it to initialize in-game.
