35t Driver Setup (2nd PC)

🧩 FTDI Driver Installation (Radar PC)

Follow these steps to install the FTDI driver required for DMA operation on your Radar PC.

📌 Tip: Check if the driver is already installed by opening Device Manager. If it's already installed (see example screenshot below), you can skip this section and move to Testing.

📁 1. Open Device Manager

• Press the Windows key and type Device Manager into the Start Menu search box.

• Look for any device listed as FTDI or similar under Universal Serial Bus devices or Other devices.

🌐 2. Download the Driver

• Go to: https://ftdichip.com/drivers/d3xx-drivers/

• Download the Windows x64 D3XX Driver.

• Extract (unzip) the downloaded .zip file.

🛠️ 3. Manually Install the Driver

1. In Device Manager, right-click the FTDI Device.

2. Select Update Driver.

3. Choose Browse my computer for drivers.

4. Click Browse, and navigate to the extracted driver folder:

   • Go to x64 > Win10

5. Click OK, then click Next.

✅ The driver should now install successfully. You're now ready to proceed with DMA testing.
