# KernAim

Setup guide for KernAim on Call of Duty, covering BO7, BO6, MW3 and MW4.

### Choose your title

KernAim is sold separately for each Call of Duty title. The setup below is the same for all of them, but make sure you own the one that matches the game you play.

KernAim runs through SteelSeries GG, so that has to be installed and signed in before the loader will work.

### Download the loader

Follow the instructions on the KernAim site to get the current loader.

### Install SteelSeries GG

Download SteelSeries GG, install it, and create an account.

### Finish the SteelSeries setup

1. You can disable **Moments** if you do not want it
2. Make sure **Sonar** is enabled
3. Click **Let's Go** to finish

### Confirm Sonar is on

Open SteelSeries GG and go to **Settings > General**. Check that **Sonar** is toggled on. KernAim will not load without it.

### Set your shortcuts

In **Settings > Shortcuts**:

1. Bind a key for **Volume Up**
2. Bind a key for **Volume Down**
3. Assign an **Overlay Enable** keybind

### Run the loader

1. Launch the KernAim loader
2. Log in with your license key
3. Press `F1` to enable **Compatibility Mode**
4. Click the blue **Start** button

### Launch the game

Start the game and set Display Mode to **Borderless** or **Windowed**. Fullscreen will not work.

### Open the menu

Once you are in-game, press `INSERT` to open and close the menu.
